1.  Obtain the valid certificate from your service provider.

2.  Launch MMC->Certificate->Local Computer, right click remote desktop, Import(select the certificate from your service provider).  Then the additional certificate will show up on the right panel.

3.  From Administrative Tools-> Go to Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration->Click on the RDP-TCP connection and select Properties

4.  Click on Select->Then select the certificate from your service provider

1.  Start with IIS Manager

Type Certificate at filter and bring up Server Certificates

2. Create Certificate Request

3.  Follow the onscreen instruction and generate the csr file, submit to your SSL provider and get the certificate

 

1.  Make sure you have more than one language input setup(language bar will not show if you only have one language)

2. Make sure the language bar is not hidden

3. If still not working modify the registry

Type in regedit and rung regedit.exe

Go to Computer\Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\WIndows\CurrentVersion\Run

Create two new string Value

One with “ctfmon”=”CTFMON.EXE”

One with c:\windows\system32\cftmon.exe

 

 

For Windows 8,

Put in the installation DVD or have the installation iso extracted file

Run Command Prompt  (Assume d:\ is your installation DVD)

Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

 

For Windows Server 2012

Put in the installation DVD or have the installation iso extracted file

Run Command Prompt  (Assume d:\ is your installation DVD)

Install-WindowsFeature –name NET-Framework-Core –source D:\sources\sxs
